TTV Guide Explainer
Torque Teno Virus Based Immune Monitoring

What is Torque Teno Virus (TTV), and what role can it play in transplant medicine? The animated explainer video developed by Science + Design for the TTV Guide research project addresses these questions and provides insight into the underlying scientific processes.

The project investigated how TTV measurements could help guide immunosuppressive treatment following kidney transplantation. The completed clinical study demonstrated that this approach is safe and can allow for lower doses of immunosuppressive medication in certain patient groups, marking a step towards more personalised transplant medicine.

The illustrations and visual language developed for the video are integral elements of the TTV Guide project’s overall visual identity.
